  Cropping Tool

 Steps

1. Copy and paste the IIIF manifest URL of an item into the top bar and click SUBMIT
2. Select and click any thumbnail to load in the viewer
3. Zoom and view the item page 
4. To crop a detail from the image, click the white pencil icon, and highlight the desired portion by clicking and dragging a rectangle from corner to corner (note: details are sized according to how large they appear in your viewer, so zoom in as much as you can for detail).
5. A thumbnail of your selected detail will appear in a slider at the bottom of the Cropping Tool. You can repeat to collect multiple details.
6. Click on the thumbnail of any detail to generate an image URL or HTML embed code, which you can choose, by clicking their respective buttons.
7. Click Copy to Copy the URL or embed code
